Hey Ladies - graduation was great and no, it didn't rain, although it was incredibly humid!!
As for the situation with *Jack* - he made a small move, but nothing big. I know - what a shock. Anyway, we're keeping in touch over the summer and resuming our relationship if he goes to EVMS next year. (At least that's my take.)
So, I better run and start some laundry because I have NOTHING to wear!!

Okay, I am home. I made it!! I attacked the strawberry patch for lunch today. I unpacked all of my laundry and have been washing all day. I don't feel like unpacking the rest of the car. I think graduation is tomorrow, but I'm not quite sure. I hope it all goes well and it doesn't rain. I head back to the 'burg on May 29 to claim my job as Child Activities Attendant for the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel. Can you imagine, me leading groups of 5-12 year old through CW?? It may take some getting used-to. I am very excited about living in an apartment! I feel so independent. Luckily I have Hannah and Katie living with me so I won't get myself into too much trouble. I got a job in Gov Docs in Swem so no more PRC for me. WOO HOO! Now all I have to do is tell my old boss. I don't know if you all remember by little sister or not. Gina, she used to be short with short blonde hair. Now she is really tall, well, taller than I thought she would be and her hair has gotten really long. I got home last night and she came running over and she just looked so much older than she did the last time I saw her. It was only Easter. I don't understand. Okay, I have to get my things out of the dryer. They buzzed a few minutes ago, but I am lazy. Hey, all those former Garrett students. Did you hear that he was chopping down a branch of a tree and sawed into his finger. I don't know if he cut it off, or just into it, but he missed the exam because he was recovering from an operation. It sounds very traumatic.

Well, I thought I would get the ball rolling with this summer's board messages. I just sent a ton of e-mail to all of you to remind you about this, so I hope you damn well post messages!
Quyen and I just spent the whole afternoon shopping. I don't want to unpack, so I went shopping instead. I got some great stuff though. And I finally got a graduation gift for Dave. Finally.
And I promise to keep everyone up-to-date on any happenings this weekend at graduation.

Isn't it ironic that we have to unpack before packing again? I've discovered a lot of the things I brought home with me at the end of last year should have gone directly into the trashcan at school and shouldn't have wasted all the effort to pack them in the first place. Oh well. I can't believe I'll be back at school in 2 days!! This summer has gone by really fast.

Well, on lighter note, like Dani, I've got all sort of new junk for this year! Boy, have I been shopping. Considering that I've lost 35 pounds during the last year, most of my old clothing no longer fits, darn it. I just hate that. Yeah right.
Today was a first, though. You see I am always on an eternal shoe search - at all times I am searching for a particular shoe style that I never, ever find. Well, lately I've been looking for a nice brown slip on, if it looked like a loafer even better (that was my last search). Well, today I found it. I'm feeling a little lost right now with no shoe to look for. My searchs gave my life structure!
